Morgan makes clear that he did not want to simply remake Fiat Empire. Instead, he wanted the film to address money from a deeper perspective, including the spiritual dimension. His core belief is that money represents power, and that the elite banking establishment uses that power to influence politicians, corporations, and institutions.
He emphasizes that the film still needed to start with basic monetary education, including the difference between money and currency, so viewers could understand why the nature of money matters. Morgan says the documentary’s message is about more than economics. It is about control, corruption, and the moral consequences of a monetary system that allows concentrated financial power to dominate society.
He also references a section of the film involving an experiment with apes learning to use money, suggesting that the documentary explores how monetary systems can shape behavior and expose deeper truths about human nature.
